             Plains of Abraham

The Plains of Abraham, which was the propriety of Abraham Martin dit L'Écossais, was the location of a decisive battle in 1759, during the Seven Years War. The results of the battle lead to the British besiege of Quebec, which in turn left all of Nouvelle France to British control

Today, like many battlefields, it is allegedly haunted.

Ghosts of soldiers are seen in the tunnels and near the barracks. Apparently, you can smell sulfur when a ghost appears.
